At Little Moon, we are not just educators—we’re parents who understand the hopes, dreams, and concerns you have for your child. The founding team is of Somali-Swedish background and have experience founding daycare in Scandinavia. 

 

Little Moon was born out of our own search for an early childhood environment with world leading Scandinavian philosophy that nurtures the whole child—mind, body, and soul—while reflecting the values we hold dear. As parents, we struggled to find a space in Nairobi that combined a playbased montessori’s approach and the moral foundation of Islamic teachings.

So, we decided to create it ourselves.

 

Little Moon is our answer to what was missing in Nairobi—a nurturing space where children are free to explore, play, and grow with curiosity and confidence, all while being grounded in Islamic values. We built this nursery to meet the needs of parents like us, who want more than just traditional education; we want a place where our children can thrive in every aspect of their early development. At Little Moon, your child will find not just a school, but a community dedicated to helping them shine in every way.
